Iprim

Lone survivor of the COD program. Has a true thirst for revenge and was one of the founders of the resistance. Unable to show his face in Hightown as he is constantly being searched for by the Security Services

 

Dexas

Flamboyant best friend of Zhang, owner of Mi Style a designer clothes, furniture and accessories shop in Hightown and another joint founder of the resistance. Has a high social profile and is the able to walk freely within Hightown without the fear of being picked up by the SS.

 

Ed Zeka

Owner of the popular hangout Bar 17 in Hightown. Founded the resistance with Zhang and Dexas after hearing the stories from Iprim about his treatment in the Ekyinye laboratories and the truth about the COD program. Bar 17 is the HQ of the resistance and is also used to pick up any information unwittingly given by drunk SS guards off duty.

The perfect model for Yerrith

After her performances in the hit films Final Destination1 and 2, Actress Ali Larter has been given the role of modelling 'Yerrith' from the 13sob favourite - Oqendaur. In one scene in particular in the first Final Destination of the series, Ali is seen welding some metal art, wearing tan coloured clothing. This scene cemented her appeal as she has the look of an attractive yet fiercely independent character.

Early work on 'The Block'

Thanks to a combination of a number of ideas, the latest addition to the 13 Shades of Black studios is going to be 'The Block'. The Block started off as an idea for a scandal ridden action game set in the near future with no idea as to characters or a real storyline. At the moment these ideas have been combined with recently created characters as well as the now legendary 'Zhang' who now has a game to his name. Details of the game will follow in the next posting.

Jay Millam in 'VAON'

Here is a picture of Jay Millam, the heroine of the new release from Zaro Santini's 'VAON'. Set in a once Flamboyant and prosporous dwelling, Angel city is now a forgotten, run-down abode run by the corrupt and the lawless. Jay is an up and coming journalist looking to make a name for herself by catching a big story. After being attacked in an attempted mugging incident she is saved by the mysterious anti-hero known only as 'VAON'. Jay sees this as here key to her big break and initially looks to find out the true identity of her elusive saviour. As time passes though, Jay begins to see the plight of VAON and looks to help him in his quest for vengeance.

VAON takes time out from his thirst for revenge to watch over the intrepid reporter Jay Millam. Although the two characters seem about the same age because of their natural physique, VAON is in his mid fourties and the 25 year old Jay is around 20 years his junior. VAON only starts to trust Jay after remembering about her past. In his 20's the young VAON witnessed the murder of Jay's parents and managed to take her to a secluded orphanage where she remained until her 15th birthday.

VAON's desire for revenge comes from the actions taken by the crime lords who now run the city. After being hideously scarred when he was 32, the then 'Jack Easterby', swore vengeance on those who had wronged him. He had tried, unsuccessfully to uncover the corruption in the halls of the city hall. It is for this reason, and the desire to keep his identity a secret that VAON is initially hostile towards Jay Millam. He doesn't want her to end up like he did, especially as he was a witness to the murder of her parents.

'VAON' is a mixture of all out action and sneaking stealth missions as the abilities of Jay Millam and VAON are combined. Work as Jay to uncover the deepest secrets of the underworld crime lords who rule the city and use the power of VAON to bring them and their evil empires crashing down.

Entrail

This is the first glimpse of Entrail, the focal point of Oqendaur and home to 3 of the main characters of the game: - Treydorg, Qayjax and Yerrith. This section of the town has a lot of picturesque houses with a small bridge linking both sides of Entrail. Although there will be more images to follow, this is the initial look at what one of the key areas of Oqendaur will look like whe nthe game is finished.

The 'Avkas'

Here is a glimpse of the 'Avkas', the bridge over the clouds which forms the only link between Entrail and Carpathia in the region known as 'Scalius'. It is said only the brave and true can cross over the bridge of clouds, many men have tried in pursuit of the beautiful Royal daughters and the right to the throne.

Oqendaur

As the flagship of the 13 Shades of Black Design Company™ Oqendaur is now being taken into the development stage of the game creation process. Thanks to the designers led by Zaro Santini, the fabulous world of Oqendaur has been realised with breath taking visuals and intriging characters who populate the land. Hopes are high as Oqendaur looks to set new standards in RPG gameplay.
